Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Blog Hop!
Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember®” event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. I personally began stamping around 4 years ago and guess where my first stamp order came from? SIMON! They truly are a company that has everything you need to start this awesome hobby and the best part is, they really love their customers! :-)
To celebrate the 4th annual Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® event, we're 'hopping' along sharing some great projects featuring the new STAMPtember® product releases!
It's one of the biggest releases to date and features new stamp sets, dies and stencils - the newest addition the Simon brand of products. Earlier this week, I shared a card, along with my favorite sets from the release! You can check that out here.
We're so excited that you are here to celebrate with us and we hope to inspire you at all stops along one of our biggest blog hops ever!
This card was created using the flag from the Flag on a Line die set. I die cut each set of flags three times and stitched them into a banner. I finished off the edges by tying little bows with the thread! The sentiment comes from the Thanks set.
I love the added dimension that you get with three flags layered together, and it takes almost no extra time. All of the papers come from Amy Tan's Sketchbook 6x6 paper pack.
I wanted to showcase how versatile that little flag could be, so I decide to turn it the other way and create a couple of little houses! They look pretty cute perched on that green hill. However, I think the real star of this card is that awesome little plane flying above the clouds. That is the smaller plane from the Jumbo Jets die set.
I die cut it twice, once with kraft cardstock and once with that yellow patterned paper, just to add a bit of a shadowed effect.
It's GIVEAWAY TIME!!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a goody bag at every stop on the hop! That's 16 chances to win!
Just leave a comment on each of the blog posts as you hop along to be entered in the random drawings. The giveaways will stay open until Thursday September 12, 2013 at 6:00pm EST and the winners will be announced on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Friday September 13, 2013.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog on the hop! The next stop is my current favorite designer — Laura Bassen. She rocks!!
The hop begins at the newly designed Simon Says Stamp blog, so if you encounter any broken links while 'hopping' you can head back there for a full list of participants.
The Simon blog has a new address and a new look, with all the great inspiration you've come to love and expect from Simon Says Stamp! :)
Happy Hopping!! ;-)
