VDC#4 — Easy Silly Valentine Card Set

As a kid, my favorite part of Valentine's Day was decorating my little cardboard mailbox and going around the classroom sharing Valentine's with my friends. I remember working hard writing everyone's name in each one and carefully taping little candies to them — I loved cardmaking even then! :-) When I saw the My Silly Valentine set from Lawn Fawn, I knew that I had to recreate those little Valentine's from my past!

This set definitely isn't anything revolutionary, but it was so quick and easy to make and would be just perfect to use with your child to create their Valentine cards. Who doesn't love a good pun?!

This set also gave me the chance to bust out a ton of my Copic markers.  I say this in the video, but I want to say it again here. I don't really know what I'm doing with Copics! I've watched some videos, played with them plenty, but when it comes down to it, I really like using them for some quick coloring the most. I do a little bit of shading on these cards, but not much! Here is a quick video of the whole process.

Thanks so much for stopping by for this fun week.  I have had a blast creating these cards and videos and I can't believe there is only one day left! XOXO!
