Is anyone still here?! :-)
It has officially been two months since my last blog post, so I figured it was time for an update. Way back at the beginning of October, I turned 24. I felt like this might just be a magical year and what do you know, just 4 days after my birthday this happened....
Then this happened...
INSERT PICTURE OF ME FEELING SICK FOR 10 WEEKS.
The first trimester was a doozy. I was exhausted and the smell of my beloved stamps actually made me quite sick. Slowly but surely, I've started to feel a little more normal. However, now that I'm 18 weeks, I'm feeling little kicks and flutters, and I have a feeling normal is gone forever. But that's definitely fine by me.
I have also decided to step away from the majority of my Design Team commitments. The amazing Angelica over at Market Street gave all of the DT members the opportunity to reapply at the end of our terms in December, but I knew that I just couldn't do their awesome product justice. I still LOVE them and am very proud of all the new and exciting things going on over there.
I also decided to end my reign as a DOTTESS. Again, a great team, great product, just not enough hours in the day!
However, I plan to remain on the Young Crafter's Unite team for as long as they will have me. I LOVE the girls on that team and think it is the perfect commitment for me at this stage in my life!
Apart from the baby, I have a feeling we may be making a move in the upcoming months, which will just make life a little more exciting and unpredictable then it already is. Which is fine by me. I seem to do best when I'm kept on my toes. :-)
Hopefully, that explains my long absence!! I hope to be posting more because I miss everyone here! I miss reading blogs, checking on Twitter and hearing from all of you guys. I am currently doing some major (early) Spring cleaning in my craft studio and am thinking about selling some of the goods that won't make the move. Would you guys be interested in something if I posted it here? Let me know in the comments below — that is if anyone is still reading — ha! :-)
xoxo,
Jess

Congratulations!! I had truly wondered what was going on with you being gone for so long--and had hoped for the best (hooray that my hopes were right!).
ReplyDeleteI would probably be interested in some of your goodies if you need to part with them. I understand that sometimes things get so busy that prioritizing must be done here and there. =)

ReplyDeleteCongrats! This will take your paper crafting to a whole other level!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations as well!!! How exciting! Yes, life will never be the same but it will only get better & better :) I have 9 1/2 m.o. twins and we've moved twice (all on our own - no movers & no family in the area) - once at 7 mos. preggers and again when the boys were 6 m.o. It's totally do-able! Of course, I haven't crafted in eons... But, you are young and the world is your oyster :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! you are in for a wonderful and happy adventure!
ReplyDeleteBig congrats to you! Glad your absence was due to such an exciting development in your life!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad and relieved to read this! I've been checking in pretty much weekly, and getting really concerned over what might have happened to you! I was worried about you, Jess! :o) Missing your posts and your videos. I am so very glad over your wonderful news! That is so exciting and definitely explains why you haven't been around. So happy for you. Wishing you all the best in this next phase of your life. Don't be a stranger! If you can't stand the smell of your stamps, just update us on YOU. We love you! Great to have you back.
ReplyDeleteYeah! Congratulations!! I am super happy for you!!!!! Do you know what you're having? I must have checked in just before your post because I was wondering what happened to you. Glad everything is okay...well, except for the morning sickness part--ugh! I had it all the way through with my 2nd, so I feel for you. I don't have too much girl stuff left, but I have a ton of boy clothes and a few of the "big ticket" items (crib, changing table) that I'd love to part with if you'd like them. Even if you don't make cards, just give updates! I miss seeing you on the blog!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! You must be so excited! I was wondering what had kept you from blogging. I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I missed all the updates!
