It's Thursday, which means the weekend is just around the corner! I've had a to-do list a mile long lately, and I am feeling a bit behind. But! I know it will all get done — just keep swimming, just keep swimming!
On to today's card! Here is my last reject from the Paper Crafts magazine call! I'm thinking the sentiment doesn't make much sense, unless you are familiar with the Michael Jackson song. Even then, I'm not sure what for what occasion you would give this card — all in all, it's not a winner! However, I've got to keep it real and share the failures. Plus, I love those Amy Tangerine cardstock pieces.
Any ideas for when this card would be appropriate? Not a birthday, not thinking of you, maybe back to school? I clearly have no idea!
I'll link this card up to Amber's Reject blog hop, as well. If you haven't visited that post over there yet, I highly recommend checking it out — lots of talent.
I'll be back bright and early tomorrow with the Young Crafters Unite Challenge #2. It is really a FUN one. :-)

Maybe the sentiment could be something along the lines of, "Loving you is as easy as 1, 2, 3?"
ReplyDeleteHahah, I love that Jackson Five song. I can empathize with you, I've felt like the weeks just flash by with how busy I've been! Just keep swimming!
I think it's perfect as a congratulations/encouragement card for a kid. Something along the lines of I knew you could do it.
ReplyDeleteawesome card...
ReplyDelete...or simple as Do, Re, Mi...(great, now you've got me singing)
ReplyDeleteI think it's cute! I'm sure someone could find the perfect occasion for this card. :)
I love this card! Maybe it could be an encouragement sort of card? lol
ReplyDeleteI like the card. What about using it as an encouragement card - maybe for someone who is nervous about their first day at school/work, becoming a parent or whatever. Just to let them know it will be as easy as 1, 2, 3. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this is a reject - it's so well laid out and the numbers are so clever! I think it would be a great encouragement card too!
ReplyDeletei love this and can't wait to see what you decide to do with it!
ReplyDeleteMegan siad it first, but I was thinking Valentine's Day or Father's Day. As in "Loving you is easy as 1, 2, 3". Could be for a mom too, but I like that it has a slightly masculine feel to it.
ReplyDeleteAlso... as a thank you for someone who did something for you and made it look easy because they are so great!
