It's time for the very first Young Crafters Unite Challenge #1 — woo hoo!
This week the challenge is to color a stamped image. The possibilites for this challenge are endless. You can use Distress Inks, Copics, Colored Pencils, watercolors — the sky is the limit.
For my stamped image, I decided to color with Prismacolored Pencils and Mineral Spirits. This is one of my favorite coloring mediums. It's easy and really packs a punch. I've done a tutorial on this technique, that you can check out here. I'm also loving the Authentique 6x6 pads. Such pretty and soft patterns.
I embellished the center of the flower with some Hero Hues. This might be the most girly card I have ever made! :-)
The rest of the Design Team kicked some major butt on this challenge. Check them out below:
Did I mention there will be a prize up for grabs?! Our awesome sponsor Simon Says Stamp will award the lucky winner with a $25 Gift Certificate. That can buy a lot of great loot over there.
