Inspired by Pinterest! (Video!)

I had the best weekend I have had in a looooooooong time.  Lots of sleeping, shopping, movie watching and fun time spent with my favorite person in the whole world!  I had been feeling a little lacking in the mojo department lately, so while I was on vacation I was a pinning fool.

Pinterest is one of my favorite inspiration hang-outs and my boards are getting full. I gathered up inspiration all weekend long, and came home on Sunday raring to get in the craft room and stamp up a storm.  I was particularly inspired by this photo I pinned onto my "Cards" board —

Original source: Flickr
I loved the hearts forming a larger heart, the stitching, the use of a lot of different patterns, pretty much everything!  So I decided to make a card using all of those elements.

I really love it.  It has a home spun feel that I don't often see in my cards. Do you recognize the patterned paper pack I took my hearts from?  It's one of my favs!

My one complaint?  The stitching on this bad boy took forever.  I watched a WHOLE Jersey Shore while I did it!  But, I guess it was worth it since I like the end result!

I filmed the process for this week's Made-It Monday.  Check it out —

If you are not on Pinterest, I highly recommend checking it out.  It is fun, easy, as interactive as you want it to be and a great source for all kinds of inspiration.  If you want to follow my boards you can check them out here — My Pinterest.
