Lawnscaping Challenge #13 - Pop up fun!

I'm going to be totally honest here.  When I saw Lawnscaping Challenge #13 and the DT samples, I thought, "Well, I guess I will be skipping this week.  There is no way I can do anything like that."  But then I told negative nancy Jess to shut it and decided to CHALLENGE myself — that's the whole point of these right?!

I kept the outside fairly simple. If you know me at all, you know I heart a scored border.

Then BLAMMO!  Do you feel like you are at a carnival?!  Granted, it's a very small carnival with only two rides, but still...you could ride those over and over!!!

I used distress inks for the grass, sky and sun and Copics to color the rest.

Here is a close up of how I popped up my two rides.  I just used dimensional adhesives for the balloons.  No card could be complete without Sophie's Sentiments.

On a side note, Kelly, the owner of Lawn Fawn, tweeted a few days ago that they would be coming out with EIGHT new sets in August.  WHAT THE WHAT?!  I am seriously excited.

Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies:
Stamps — Lawn Fawn Admit One, Lawn Fawn Sophie's Sentiment
Inks — Distress Ink (Shabby Shutters, Broken China, Mustard Seed, Antique Linen), Memento Ink (Tuxedo Black)
Papers — Neenah Solar White Cardstock
Other — PTI Vintage Cream Twine, Copics

  1. OOOOH so fun! I love it! I felt the same way too about this challenge, but decided to go for it anyway! I can't wait for new lawn fawn stamps either, so glad other people get as excited as I do. There are still sets from the last release I am dying to get. I think I need another job to support my stamp addiction. Ack! Fabulous card, so glad you decided to go for it. I am seriously ready for the fair to come to town now. :)

  18. The grasses should be provided with the essential nutrients since these cannot be provided by the soil in all seasons of the year. Therefore, you are required to apply proper fertilisers as per its requirements in different seasons. This is one of the ways of maintaining the health of your lawn and New Lawn.
