3 times the fun!

Finally, the sweet week featuring the cupcake has come to an end!  It will probably be awhile before I decide to ink up that stamp again. ;-)

I decided to end the week with a simple heat embossed set.  I use the EK Success Powder Tool before I heat emboss every time.  This ensures that the embossing powder sticks only to the ink and not in random clumps all over the card.

The sentiments on the cards are from my all time favorite sentiment set Lawn Fawn's Sophie's Sentiments.

I  added pops of color with some Prismacolor Pencils. They are the best colored pencils and I love the look of colored pencils on kraft  — one of my favorite combos.  I also rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper.

Whew!  Did you guys enjoy this week of themed fun?  Leave a comment below and let me know.  I probably won't attempt this again for at least a while, but it did make think outside of my typical creative box.

Tomorrow I have put together a little tour of my craft studio!  I've taken about a million pictures and even put together a little video.  I really love peaking through everyone's craft room doors, so I thought I'd better share my space as well.  And tomorrow is FRIDAY — practically the weekend!  Woo-hoo!

Supplies:
Stamps —   Hero Arts Happy Birthday Cupcakes, Lawn Fawn Sophie's Sentiments
Inks —Versamark Ink
Papers — Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock
Other — White Embossing Powder, Prismacolor pencils

  1. I'm so glad you commented on my blog! I agree we have similar styles (although I think you're leaps and bounds ahead of me lol). I'm so glad I can follow you now.

Oh and I love these cards! I just got my first set of prismacolors and cannot wait to use them.
